#MilitantFactionsQuotes 37: They took me to pubs without names over the door

#MilitantFactionsQuotes 37:

They took me to pubs without names over the door, to early morning markets where you could pay butchers to chop up your friends, to blasted flats overrun by men with guns. They were all London, as far as I could tell, except Mick (up north) and myself (nowhere). They liked me because I told sick jokes, was as racist as they were. Once down the tube an old codger asked me for money so I bit off his nose and swallowed. Mick laughed and laughed. We killed prostitutes mainly cos they were easy. Never raped them though - we had class. Mainline told me Mick once fucked his own brother up the arse to show him who was boss. Not about sex: power, control.

-From "Meat City", broadcast by 4'33" (2011) and one of the stories in Mark Piggott's fiction/non-fiction collection "Militant Factions" available in paperback or Kindle from Amazon.
