#FireHorsesQuotes 50: "Water columns breezed across the plain, chasing silver grass, ruffling like rabbit fur"

#FireHorsesQuotes 50: “The view from the ridge was like the cover of one of Dad’s sci-fi mags; one of those rare milky days when the moon was as bright as the sun behind the pregnant clouds. Water columns breezed across the plain, chasing silver grass, ruffling like rabbit fur. Hard pillars of steel, circular and ponderous, one after another, spinning wheels of light. Naked air, transparent glass, airbrushing the sky clean turquoise; shadows of sunlight, fire-flares of crimson, burning empty moorland to iced tinder.”

My debut novel, Fire Horses (#火马, #火馬), first published by Legend Press in paperback, is now available on Kindle for just 99p.
