The proofs for “Out of Office” have been despatched, the launch date confirmed and it’s full steam ahead, but my first novel, “Fire Horses” is still getting coverage, with an interesting review at Frank Mask here and another by fellow Legend author Andrew Blackman here. The reviews touch on something I’ve found really difficult: making the “heroes” of my novels unsympathetic yet sufficiently engaging for the reader to stick with. Sometimes I wonder if I’ve taken this idea too far, but the overall reaction has been really positive. I may return to this theme when I can be arsed but in the meantime I’ll just say: don’t become a writer in order to be popular...
